Hi, I’m Ronan, the creator behind Flexo Draws.

Creativity has always been a huge part of my life. I qualified as a graphic designer and have spent years developing my skills in design, illustration, and visual storytelling.
Creating art has never been just a hobby for me—it has always been something I have loved doing and a way of expressing myself.

Although my passion was always in art and design, life took me down a different path professionally. For the past 10 years, I have worked in the construction industry in Ireland. While I enjoyed the challenges and rewards that came with the job, creating art remained a constant passion in the background, something I would return to whenever I had the opportunity.

In October 2025, everything changed. I suffered a serious workplace accident that resulted in my tibia being broken in three places. Since then, I have undergone two surgeries, spent more than seven months on crutches, and still face two further operations on my road to recovery.

It has undoubtedly been one of the most difficult periods of my life. The physical challenges, uncertainty, and long recovery process forced me to slow down and rethink what was important to me. However, within that difficult experience came an unexpected opportunity.
For the first time in years, I had the time to fully immerse myself in creating art.

What started as a way to stay positive and focused during recovery quickly reignited a passion that had been with me since I first discovered design. I began creating new pieces regularly, experimenting with ideas, refining my style, and building a collection of artwork that reflected my creativity, experiences, and love for bold visual design.

That journey led to the creation of Flexo Draws.

Flexo Draws was born from the belief that art should bring personality, colour, and energy into people’s homes and workspaces. Every piece is designed with care and produced as a high-quality limited edition print, allowing collectors to own something unique rather than a mass-produced poster.

For me, every print represents more than just artwork. It represents resilience, creativity, and the ability to find purpose during challenging times. What began as a difficult chapter in my life became the catalyst for pursuing a lifelong passion and sharing my work with others.
